We take a blank CD, print the picture or design of your choice on it, fit a clock mechanism to the back, and add the hands in front, so that the CD forms the face of the clock. Your clock is supplied with an almost invisible table-top stand, or it can be hung on the wall with the built-in hanger.

You can pay for your clocks using PayPal or an ordinary credit/debit card. Your payment is actually taken by PayPal on their secure site, so your financial details never go anywhere near our server. This means complete peace of mind for you, and it is also easier for us. PayPal just tell us that you have paid, and your name and address.

We aim to process your order within one working day, and post it to you first class. So with the co-operation of the Royal Mail,
you should have your clocks within two working days. There is a single delivery charge of £2.00 per order, however many clocks you buy.
Other EU countries
The delivery charge is £2.00 per order, but please allow five working days for delivery.
Worldwide
The delivery charge is still £2.00 per order, but please allow seven working days for delivery.

We are only interested in sending you your CD clocks as soon as possible, so that is all we will use your address for.
We will not use it ourselves to fill your letterbox with unwanted junk mail, and we will not pass it to anyone else.

We will email you to keep you up to date with the progress of your order. We may email you occasionally after that
to ask what you thought of your clock, or to tell you about new things happening at designOclock that you may be interested in.
You will always be offered a simple way to stop these emails.

Have you ever printed a photo from a digital camera yourself? If so you will know that the colours you see on your computer screen do not look exactly like the colours you see on the paper. There are many reasons for this, from scientific ones about the way the eye sees colours, through to simple ones like the fact that every computer shows colours slightly differently. For the same reasons, we cannot guarantee that the colours on your clock will be exactly the same as those on your computer screen. However, we do aim for the best possible results, using high quality CDs, printers and ink, so we don't think you will be disappointed.
The hands shown on your clock design are a simulation designed to match the colour, size and shape of actual hands we supply as closely as possible. For the reasons mentioned above, there may be small variations between the simulated hands and the real thing, but once again, we don't think you will notice the difference.
But if we are wrong about this, and your clock is not quite what you wanted, there is a simple answer - just send it back to us within seven days for a full refund. As usual, this does not affect your rights in law.
As with all freedoms, the freedom to design your own clocks brings with it certain responsibilities. By using designOclock, you agree to ensure that:
These conditions are necessary both to ensure that we do not break the law, and also to protect our staff who make the clocks. We will refuse any order that does not fulfil these conditions, and in addition we reserve the right to refuse any order without giving a reason. You will, of course, be given an immediate full refund if we need to do this.
